Launched in 2023, K2K works across public housing estates (PPRs) in the Klang Valley, bringing together a coalition of government agencies, private sector partners and community organisations who share a single belief: residents deserve more than maintenance. They deserve genuine transformation.

HOW WE WORK

Three pillars. Built to last.

K2K's work is anchored in three interconnected principles. Each one depends on the others. Together, they create communities that can stand on their own.

Community Empowerment

Change cannot be done to a community. It must be done with one. K2K builds genuine trust before asking anything of residents. From that foundation, we bring people together, establish community forums through FORKOM, and support residents to move from passive occupants to active agents of change.

Capacity

Good intentions need real resources. K2K mobilises funding, skills and assets from public, private and community sources, making sure every initiative is backed by what it needs to succeed, without creating dependency on any single stream.

Co-Management

Residents and housing authorities work together across the full lifecycle of every initiative, from planning and co-design through to monitoring and day-to-day management. When communities have a genuine voice, the outcomes last.
